Hi. I really didn't knew that Linux is not the only derivative of Unix operating system. Few days ago, I have discovered the existence of this operating system. The fact that Linux is not a joke at all, even more, it is very dangerous opposite to M$, probably there is someone who already installed Xenix, and do know how to deal with. Well? Someone is willing to hit me with his Xenix Experience or not? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Xenix is being developed in the mid 70's and bought and licensed my Microsoft. Sounds very irritating but it is true. Part of Unix source code licensed by Microsoft. The name it self is created by M$ and it's license wasn't sold to end-users but to other software OEM's such as Intel, Tandy, Altos and so on. There is a price for Xenix and very poor driver support. You can find benefit of this operating system if you are skilled programmer, and know how to deal with it's kernel and source code. This means, it is not very popular among the wide population, which also means, no. Regarding me, I still didn't installed Xenix.
