Hey there. I have just bought a new D-Link router, and I have a little problem – I am not sure how to configure it. Can somebody please explain me what to do? I have a router, a power adapter for it, installation disk and Ethenet card. What am i supposed to do?Many thaks for your help, I really need it

Well, first step is, of course – connecting the parts you have  First you need to plug the router in, using the power adapter. Than, you need to put the Ethernet cable in the router and at the back of your WAN device. After you have finished with this, you need to turn both the router and the modem. Next step is of course starting the setup wizard using your installation CD. You will need to open the browser and type 192.168.0.1 in it. You will there be able to set a new password to your router and configure it.It is the best to find a manual how to exactly.
