| With my system specifications, I have around 100fps inside Guild Wars, and I don't need more, totally cool. This is the situation with Windows XP. But, when I log in to Vista, system is running great, I am satisfied with the performance I have within Explorer, the internet is there working as inside XP. All except my favorite. Guild wars. From some unknown reason, frame rate drops down below 10 sometimes, and I can see that the router is blinking normally. I have all current BIOS, chipset, graphic card drivers updates, all game patches are there, tried everything I could think of, nothing. No luck. Someone with the same problem? Thanks in advance. |

| Hi. Well, I must disappoint all of you Vista users. This operating system is still in big, big beta stage, no matter there is a price for it. All gaming issues will be resolved after one year from now on I think, and not to mention, but probably one more additional gigabyte of source code and kernel under the hood, directly from Microsoft. But, as I already know, there is SP1 for Vista. You have installed that? |
