| I have been using Internet for a year now and everything worked fine. Since few months ago, I could not defend from different types of viruses. I tried many different things like reinstalling Windows, avoiding 'danger' sites etc. Nothing of that gives any lasting results. In the last period, my DHCP won't assign IP address and I have DNS error. Can some virus cause that problem? |

| I do not think that virus cause your DNS error. However, try to solve problems one at the time. You could solve your virus problem by following few simple steps. First, you should get some strong anti-virus programs. By my experience, that problem should be solved by using a combination of SpyBot and AVG. Both those programs are freeware, which is not reducing their efficiency. If you add them Sygate firewall you will be completely protected. If you have Microsoft Windows XP do not forget to install Service Pack 2. Those things will solve your potentional problems with viruses. About DNS error, you should try to change your DNS server. If you do not know how, check OpenDNS.org. |
