| Greetings people. I indeed have very unpleasant situation with one PC. My friend asked me to help him with clean windows install from a scratch. I said no problem, and we started. But, he didn’t mentioned that he doesn’t have all the drivers. The sound card is not recognized (Sound Blaster Live!). I said nevermind, I have Audigy 2 in my PC, so I jumped back home to collect that CD and few things more. But, it seems that his computer is troubled with more than this. I just can’t install those sound card drivers, no matter if the CD is original Creative! Where is the folder on the CD for the Live! version? Thanks in advance. |

| No, don’t do that. This behavior is quite normal, because Creative has very strict driver politics. Your CD works only with your Sound Card model and there is no other way to handle the situation. So, if you two guys don’t have the original CD for his sound card, you must drop by on the Creative’s site and download the drivers for the exact match. Every model version differs from other quite a lot. Not the same situation as it is with the graphic drivers, for example. |
