Hello. I am a novice computer user and I would like to learn how to compress files with WinZip. I have downloaded and installed trial version just to see how it works and to learn how to use it. I would be really grateful if you could give me detailed instructions how to compress files with WinZip.

Compressing files with WinZip is easy. You have two options. One is to right click on file you would like to compress and choose add to archive from context menu. Second way is to open WinZip, click “New” and choose where you want to save archive. Click “Save” and you will be back in WinZip. Now you have to add files to newly created archive. Click “Add” button and choose from browser what files you would like to add to archive. In the next step choose compression level and click “Add”. Files will be added to archive and compressed.
