Hello! I have an older Compaq computer and I have reinstalled Windows XP on it. Since then I have problems with this computer and I really do not know what I should to do to fix it. A friend of mine told me that this is happening because I have reinstalled XP with original installation disc, but that is stupid, right?

Hello! It is not stupid. And you know what: your friend is right. You should used Windows XP image from Compaq recovery partition. Now, you will need to go to the Compaq official web site and you will need to download and install all of Compaq drivers, because Windows XP does not have these drivers.
