Change Pic in BMP format to a GIF ?

Hi there. I feel a bit ridiculous for having to ask this kind of question ath the forum, but I do not have another solution. I need to convert a little image I have, and which is in bmp format in gif. I’ve tried to upload it and put it on a forum I often visit, but I found out it only accepts gif format. How can I convert it?

Hey there. There is no reason for you to feel that way; we all had to begin somewhere. It only gets easier, do not worry  there are many ways for you to convert your BMP image to gif. What you should do is downloading one of many converters which is designed particularly for that purpose. Try to Google it, for start  I think that there is a program called bmp to gif, and that it is very easy to use. I doubt you will have any problems handling it. You just need to read the instructions carefully, and if it has a help file, it won’t hurt you to read it.
