Why is Vista playing with me? I don’t have wallpaper. It is not appearing on my desktop at all. Also the thumbnails preview is not as it supposed to be. Sometimes, when I refresh the folder, the thumbnail preview of folder icons is completely white. And some of the icons are showed as very ugly stretched thumbnail. What I did to get this on my screen? How to revert to normal?

Ok, this is some sort of common bug in Windows Vista, and you should try the following things. Shutdown explorer process from the task manager and than run command prompt. Type : attrib –H iconCache.db ; del IconCache.db than as the last command type start explorer. This will rebuild Icon Cache inside Vista.
