I am doing regular updates of everything in my computer. Operating system, a driver, software because I believe that keeping everything up to date is one of the key things to have functional computer. Bit this time I wish I did not make an update. I have tried to update BIOS and ended up with unbootable system. Can you tell me how to solve this problem?
There was some problem during BIOS update that much I can tell you. To solve this issue you will have to clear CMOS and to restore default BIOS settings. Open computer case and take motherboard manual to be near you. Now locate jumper on the motherboard that can be used to clear CMOS. It should be easy to locate if you follow motherboard schematics in your manual. Take that jumper out and wait for 20 or so seconds. After that, put jumper back. This should clear all CMOS settings and restore default ones. I hope you will be able to boot now.
