I am learning some programing basics, and I feel a bit terrified with it all, I must admit, This scripting part is giving me lot of trouble, I find some things very difficult to understand.For example, I can not really understand if I can use scripting language for passing commands to external program?

Hello there. I doubt it will be easy for you to learn scripting language nor a thing about programing, on your own. It is not as easy as it might seem to you from the first look on the material. I think that you should take some lessons, and learn about it in details.As far as I know, that is what scripting languages do- they call or pass commands to external programs. Scripting languages function kind of independently from other application, they just control those software applications. The best known scripting language is Java, and maybe the most widely spread, so if there is anything you want to learn, try this one.
