Hi there. Now I got two hard drives inside my computer. One of them is SATA drive. I am not so experienced with Serial ATA technology and I am wondering will Vista work fine on it? Serial ATA with bootable partition. Someone has already tried, right? Thanks for any further suggestion.

Depends on a chip set you are using. Your BIOS must be configured properly to make boot from SATA. Some of motherboard layouts require drivers on a floppy drive. But if you are using something like Intel 915, than no problem. If in some certain way Vista refuses to accept the built-in drivers, than youll have to download sata drivers for your hard drive from manufacturers site. The good thing with Vista is flash drive peripheral support instead of slow floppy disc drivers update only. First of all, check out your motherboard software, do you have something for preparing the sata drive. Tell us something more about your configuration later, if things go wrong.
