Yesterday, everything was really just fine with my configuration, but today at start I have noticed that I have only virtual drive icons inside my computer. CD drives are missing and I can’t read any of my CD’s. But, the device manager has told me something about that. I have yellow question mark on both drive icons there. With the error code 41. What about that? I guess that solution is at hand, or at least I hope so. Thanks for any advice.

Here is one method that helped me when I installed wrong sound card drivers. I had the same situation after. Download nCleaner. Clean everything you can with that program. After that, go back to the device manager and remove the drives from the system. Remove both IDE 1 and IDE 2 controllers. After the reboot, you are going to see found new hardware message couple of times and afterwards, everything should be just fine.
