Hi. I don't know should I laugh or cry. Vista service pack 1 is finished, available for download. Many folks are already using it. Some people are speaking it is perfect and does everything works much better than before the upgrade. Well, not for me. At least if I could somehow manage to download it trough Vista update. I have tried for three times, but the download just can't get to the end. Someone messed up with this already?
It is true what you heard about installed service pack for Vista, but I had no problems with downloading that update. I have tried this version of Windows with service pack 1 included in the installation. There is a solution, however. Torrent network. There are bunch of various torrents offering just what you need. Service Pack 1 on 1.000 places. Fully functional with the instructions provided. Try there.
Perhaps your computer has some hardware which , for the moment, does not have a suitable driver in SP1. In this case the MS update feature will reject it. However, there is a better solution than using a torrent (where it is easily possible to grab a virus or spyware) go to this page and download the standalone version direct from Microsoft.
