Hi there. I think that I have some things not quite clear in my head. I would like to know how can I discover the real WAN IP address of the Belkin router which is in currently in my possession. What are the main differences regarding other router brands and WAN and this one? Is there some difference any way? There is one thing that I need, right now, I would like to test the Moodle server, so I need to know that WAN IP. Thanks in advance.

All you need to do is to enter to the router it self, where you will see it's status and current data in a just few moments or so. I don't know the exact location of the Belkin configuration. But, I believe that there is WAN section. Under that you will find the current WAN IP address. There it is. You will be able to tell your buddies what is the name of your local host.

And how is that possible that someone who doesn't knows how to maintain it's own router, would like to manipulate with some sort of web server? Really, isn't this actually one and pure example of the stair jump? Before you learn how to manipulate with your local host and similar, I would suggest you to do learn just the basics. Nothing more.
