Hi there dear friends. I have a problem with my computer, and I need to fix it somehow. I have been having problem with my Creative Sound blaster ever since I have installed it. First, the sound was somehow distorted, and later when I restarted the system there was no sound at all. What shall I do? Does anyone have an idea?

Hey there. I think you have probably installed wrong drivers. Did you get the drivers for your sound card when you brought it the first place? This really looks as something that might happen when wrong drivers are installed. I would suggest you to remove the driver, and remove the card from devices. Than, do the refresh and when it appears insert the installation CD. It will probably find the correct driver. If it doesn’t you might as well try connecting to the internet and searching for the better one. Has it ever been functioning properly? Maybe it is damaged somehow? Anyway, I would suggest you to first check every possible software problem, and than think about hardware ones.
