What can you tell me about using Apple Safari browser on non-Apple phones? I know that certain programs and platforms can be used only on certain types of hardware. I have a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and I’m wondering whether I will be able to use this software as I have heard that it is the best for mobile phones.

Well, I know that sometimes there are various versions of software both for Apple and for Windows based PCs and mobile phones. I think that Safari is created primarily for Apple phones but the last time I was reading about it there was information that it would be optimized for the use with Windows and the machines which use Windows. I also think that this browser can be used with Linux. You can check that out on the official web site. But I see no reason why you shouldn’t try Opera for your mobile phone. There is free mini-Opera software especially for mobile phones and it is really good. Download it and you will see that you won’t need Safari.
