I have been using the internet for last two years and everything worked fine. However, since few months ago, I could not defend from viruses, especially Trojans. I even reinstalled my WinXP couple of times but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Since yesterday, I start using Opera and NOD32. Any way of setting NOD32 to use up less resources?

There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Opera is definitely one of the most popular browsers on the net. Firefox is even more popular. Many users think that they are better then Explorer. I do not think that your problems are related to using Explorer. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Internet Explorer, and I do not have any problems. That my opinion is right shows that first place as the most popular internet browser goes to Internet explorer. You just need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot, which is efficient and free. I do not know that thing about adware, but I am sure if it comes with SpyBot, it is not dangerous. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. NOD32 is OK but as you see, it has a problem with resources. I personally use AVG Free and I am completely satisfied. If you have WinXP, you will also need SP 2 to be installed.
