Antivirus cannot finish scan

Hello. I am using AVG antivirus and I have a problem. Everything worked fine for a long time and I was a happy customer. I still consider this antivirus to be very good but I am experiencing some difficulties right now. AVG antivirus can not finish scanning any more. It comes to 80% and then stalls until I manually stop scanning process. Do you know the reason for this behavior?

Hi. This is a strange problem. I have not seen antivirus program unable to finish scanning yet. This is probably some internal software error that will be fixed with next update. Just to be sure you should contact their support and explain your problem to them. After all, developers are most qualified to answer questions like this.
