Hello. Is there some Antivirus software capable enough to do it’s job without eating so much resources? I have tried them all, including Nod32, and none of them seems to function on the way I want to. This is because of my old sloppy notebook @ 300 mhz. Celeron with no L2 cache installed. Thanks in advance.

Hi. Well, there is actually. Again, open source has got the solution. And the solution is called ClamWin antivirus free edition. It has only one module for scanning on demand, and dozen of options included. It just sits in the notification area and it is using no resources or the CPU time. More than recommended for the sloppy machines, as you named yours.
