Am I becoming an internet freak? I have noticed that I spend more and more time surfing the internet. When I want to stop and go to bed in the night, there is always something else that I want to see on the internet and a mail to read and a friend to talk to over the messenger. Sometimes I end up sitting in front of my screen till 3 A.M. and that is completely excruciating.

Ouch! Red alert zone! I think that you have exaggerated and not only a bit. You show the symptoms of a serious internet addiction. I know that many people think that you’re an addict only if you spend hours playing online games or something like that. But, actually, anybody who is staying up late for so long is an internet addict. Perhaps if you would be working on a report or on a term paper on your PC, that would not be an example of addiction. Btu if you’re spending so much time in that manner instead of socializing or reading a book or simply taking a walk through the park, then you have a serious problem here! Attend to it asap!
