Hello. I made a complete mess inside registry and started receiving the 80073570 error problem. So I have decided to re-install windows completely. After I have finished with, the problem gone, but the new one came instead. I can't hear anything now. No sound at all. I have checked with connections between speakers and input ports, everything is on and ok. What could be the problem here? I have no more ideas. Thanks in advance.

I don't know how many sound chips are supported under Vista but I do know that Sound Max, Creative and Realtek are not under XP. Is there anything inside device manager? I believe at least Advanced HD audio or similar has to be there. However, uninstall these too, and if you know the real manufacturer for your audio card, than search for the drivers on their web site.
