Hello. Yesterday my friend and I talked about browsers generally and he told me that I should never turn on ActiveX in browsers. I know that if ActiveX is disabled, I cannot access to certain websites. So, I want to check this with you. Can you tell me what your opinion about enabling/disabling ActiveX is?

Hello. Well, my opinion is that your friend has right. When ActiveX is enabled you can access to certain websites which has ActiveX, but you can also get viruses, spyware and other malware, because ActiveX makes your browser, and system generally, more vulnerable. So, ActiveX controls on my system are disabled.
