I have bought a laptop and I’d like to establish a local area network. Plugging and connecting is not the problem but the fact is that I don’t know how to manage this network. The connection keeps on resetting and I can’t exchange information between the PC and the laptop. Do you have any idea what could be the problem and how to fix it?

It seems to me that you haven’t connected those devices well. I’ve had a similar situation recently when I couldn’t establish a stable relationship of the computers in my network. It turned out that BIOS had to be flashed and that a number of various drivers had to be installed in order for the network to be properly connected and functional. Maybe you have a problem in managing this network because something has to be installed and adjusted in some other way. So, ask a system administrator to come and check your network. He will surely be able to fix it and put it to work. And after everything is adjusted and configured properly, you won’t have to worry about it any more.
