Hey! I just discovered a great feature in new gmail’s interface! Now you can add your AIM users to the list! I managed to sign in to AIM via gmail webmail interface, but I can’t see my contacts even though it says I am online! Where is the problem? Gmail or my browser (Firefox)?

The whole gmail 2.0 interface is still in beta stage and there are yet lots of errors that need to be fixed. One of them is that you cannot see an AIM contact until he IMs you. Then you get an opportunity to unblock it (even though you haven’t been blocking him before).
