I have dialup Internet connections for last five years. It simply does not satisfy my needs any more. I have to obtain some faster Internet connection. Because I do not have many experience in that field, I read many magazines etc. What do you think about Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line or shortly ADSL? ADSL or cable internet-which is better?

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line or ADSL is definitely good choice for connecting to the Internet. In the last decade, cable Internet connections or DSL ruled the world of the Internet supremely. However, in the last few years, ADSL standard became the major competition to DSL. They offer fast Internet connection, television, and telephony all together for very reasonable price. Moreover, all that, without buying of any additional device. DSL is still standing on the market just because its greater downloading speed and its tradition. We have ADSL connection in our office and we are most satisfied. If you do not have need for some stronger download choose ADSL and you want regret it. I hope you will finally let your dialup modem to go to condign pension.
