Hello. I got Intel Pentium D Dual Core on 3 ghz, running on Abit motherboard with 925XE chipset with 2 gigabytes of DDR2 ram. Now, I am curious about the look and feel within the 64 bit OS surrounding. Am I going to get some performance over my system if I install 64 bit operating system or there is no big difference? And which one is recommended? Thanks.

Well, you got very nice computer monster, I must say. The look and feel about 64 bit operating system? No big difference. You should stay on the 32 bit platform. Dont change the environment. There are drivers for the hardware but, there isnt a plenty of choice for the software you might need for 64 bit platform. Wait for the first arrival of Service Pack for 7, than the things may change. This is correct if you ask me, regarding Windows platform. But if you want to try 64 bit Linux edition, there are plenty of choices with all needed software. Ubuntu for example.
